My name is Bella Melton, and I tutor middle school and high school students. I am helping a student of mine with a project about the growing problem of substance abuse among the elderly.
Anyway, thank you so much for posting information for seniors on your website. For example, this article (http://www.newbeginningsdrugrehab.org/guide-to-addiction-prevention-for-seniors) that my student Anna found valuable. Anna will surely use it for her project!
She also found this page and thought it would be an excellent addition to your website:
https://addictionresource.com/addiction/substance-abuse-among-seniors/ It’s an article on Addiction Resource that explains the reasons behind the problem of drug abuse among senior citizens.
If you do decide to add that link to your page, please let me know! I would be excited to show Anna that we’re able to give something back!

Thanks to you and Anna for the link on substance abuse among seniors. I added the link on Healthy Aging Resources.
Best wishes for success in your class, as well as success for Anna in her project.

Ponce de León was famously seeking the Fountain of Youth - half a millennium ago. It turns out, we have drastically downplayed the role that life-extension played, in the emergence & development of Alchemy. And, that alchemy's objective scientific contributions (among the voluminous fluff) were more on-target than we acceded (because, 'you know what they were really trying to do'). The view that Aging & Death is an adversity, and that its elimination is a goal worthy of centuries of focused effort, is extravagantly supported by the extent record; is engrained in our institutions & culture.
Charles Lindbergh teamed up with Alex Carrel at the frontiers of biological science; Aging was their real target. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexis_Carrel)
Kim Stanley Robinson wrote the Red-Green-Blue Mars Trilogy. Elon Musk is using it's themes to promote his rocket business. The Mars Trilogy is 'cover', for exploring (and promoting) Life Extension as the future, and salvation of Humanity. This is Elon Musk's real interest in the Space Program: He will use very long missions (as does KSR) to advocate for solutions to aging.
There is a tipping-point coming, when the Public realizes that this can happen ... and demand that all efforts be bent to it. Champions will be given permission, to fully embrace excellence.

Thanks for your insights and information. Life-extension certainly is an area worth pursuing. We plan to add information and resources on the subject.

I hope you are doing well!
I am Steve on of the editors of HomeAdviceGuide. We are currently working on promoting our "Bathroom Safety Guide for Seniors" that could be of great interest to your readers.
Up to 80% of falls in the home are in the bathroom. Due to a multitude of reasons, bathrooms are very hazardous. Bathrooms have unforgiving and slippery surfaces, and few dependable things to grasp onto, which greatly increases the chances for harm. By taking a few simple steps, we can make your bathroom a safer place.
Resource URL: http://www.homeadviceguide.com/bathroom-safety-for-seniors/
Our publication is well-researched, short and easy to understand, which makes it easy to be used as quick guide. Over 80 web site and many communities have already endorsed it for the information that it offers. By sharing it from your web site, you can make a difference by helping prevent further accidents in the bathroom.
Looking forward to your reply!
All the best

I often sit and chat with my 85-year-old neighbor Bev, and recently she’s been filling me in on the details of her life. Both heartbreaking and inspiring, it’s a story I won’t soon forget.
Bev and her husband have overcome some truly devastating challenges, from fertility struggles to substance abuse. Her husband was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, and she says that after 50 years together, coping with the necessary changes to her husband’s care, her home, and her life overall has been a lonely process.
I decided to reach out to other seniors who might be dealing with similar problems the best way I know how: I put together a collection of resources in the hopes of showing them how much support they truly have. I thought it would be a helpful addition to your website, especially if placed here: http://www.school-for-champions.com/health/resources.htm. Would you be so kind as to share them?
Thank you for your time and help in supporting seniors everywhere!

I notice that you’ve shared the StopFraud.gov page relating to elder fraud and I think that you might find our resource of interest https://upgradedpoints.com/how-to-prevent-credit-card-fraud/.
Senior citizens are heavily targeted by credit card fraud, our fraud hotspot map shows communities with ageing populations tend to unfortunately be targeted the most. I think our guide would prove to be a useful addition to your site.
If you are making updates to this page of your site, http://www.school-for-champions.com/aging/resources.htm, perhaps you could look to include our resource?

I understand why some people are so afraid of aging. When we think about the future, we have to wonder whether we’ll have adequate funds, enough physical strength, and a sharp wit to carry us through our golden years. But I’m not afraid of growing older -- I hope I’m lucky enough to do so -- and I want others to feel the same way!
The following resources are full of fantastic information to help seniors stay healthy, secure, and happy in this exciting era of their lives.
Would you consider sharing these with your audience? I believe they’ll be a great fit on your site
Thank you for supporting ElderImpact’s mission of encouraging seniors to continue making their mark on the world. Please also let me know if you’d be interested in a research-based article on this topic for your site -- my services are free!

Greetings from PublicHealthCorps!
‘Aging in Place’ is a term heard more and more frequently as the aging population continues to grow (1).
Here at PublicHealthCorps, we are particularly interested in the health of this aging population, and how we might inspire seniors to take care of themselves so that the dream of ‘aging in place’ can become their reality.
Please take a look at the resources I’ve listed below - these are the top 12 most helpful and educational resources that I, along with three others on my team, came across. Once you’ve had a chance to review the collection, I invite you to share it with others as you see fit.
I hope you share my excitement in sharing these resources! After all, there is so much we can do to take care of ourselves - and each other - in an effort to promote a long, healthy and enjoyable life!

I'm a huge fan of SfC. My son is on the autism spectrum and loves animals so he enjoys checking out your Healthy Animals section. I've also used your Algebra tests to give a him a little extra practice. Thank you for the great work you do!
Today, I’m writing because I'm on a mission to make sure our seniors are able to live the happy, healthy lives they deserve.
To help educate seniors and their caretakers about how to maximize their wellness, I decided to create the list of resources below. Would you join me in providing this essential information for seniors by sharing these resources with your audience
I am truly thankful for your support in spreading the word on this very important topic! If you’re able to share these resources on your site, please let me know. Additionally, if you’d like, I would love the opportunity to write a research-based article for your site.
The health and happiness of our seniors is one of my top priorities, and that is why I have shared this information with you. If you’d rather not hear from me regarding my attempts to spread awareness on important health and safety topics, please send me an e-mail to let me know.
